Just before the year is closing out, I landed my second paid project for $1200 for a single with an artist. This was all through inbound networking. He reached out because I’m a music director and play keys at my church and he checked out my Instagram and reached out. It was really easy because he knew me and knew I could provide value. Happy Holidays! Recently applied the 3 part offer concepts around building a 'Momentum Model' offer for a client. I knew this client previously and consider them a friend as well, but through the framework managed to close them on a retention plan where we meet every week to write, produce, mix, and work on content / branding. It was for a hefty price each month (for me) and am really excited about the time it's going to unlock for our continued work!

had an opportunity to chat with a film director who needed a score for a college thesis and a NYS competition recently and the call went great! i applied much of what Daniel talks about in the videos and the pricing/expectation weren’t even a problem to the client. this is my first purely solo filmscoring job and i’m excited to get started on the project! (my other filmscores involved me working with a team)

This is my first win since joining Dark Label, super stoked. I've been networking with songwriters, producers, DL members, artists, potential clients etc(both in person and online but mostly in person) in the past 2 months. Trying to build relationships with artists from different scene around LA, went to their shows, connected with their managers and I finally closed a deal for a 3-song project at my new rates. Thanks to DL framework and everyone who helped and gave me suggestions along the way ✌🏼✌🏼✌🏼

I recommend checking out the workshop I did a few weeks back and studying other channels. woehoew ... I just did my first SSF-call with a client that reached out to me! He checked my price in the summer (before I discovered DLM) and gave him my day-price (500). Back then I noticed a lot of hesitation because he mostly pays that amount for 1 song. Now I went through the DLM-steps and landed at 2000euro instead of 1500 (my price for the last 2 years) because I looped in an extra mixer and a lyricist because I think he needs them to reach his goals. Pretty big win and appreciation moment. I started working with an artist back in 2020, doing synth sound design and vocal post production. Fast forward to today, I’m sitting on a bus on tour in china running FOH for festival stages a size I could never imagine and coming back in December for China, Japan, Taiwan and Singapore. Investing in long term relationship is the goal!

I started using inbound marketing last week. Had a couple inquires from that. Took my time preparing for calls and making sure I was solid in my offer. Fast forward, had two sales calls back to back today. The first one is super excited to work but needs time to raise funds. The other is looking to send over his payment this coming week. I have a call with an outbound lead tomorrow. Just a casual call but we already have a great bond , there’s def trust there as I created a track for her and also made content out of it. Hopefully we can lock something in as well. I’ll keep y’all posted.
